Yesterday’s blog, I WANT X, was about how saying you want something without having a purpose isn’t really a WANT.
What if you do have a purpose? Should you ever stop wanting something?
Yes and No.
Yes, you can change your mind. You can change your health and fitness goals. As you grow and learn more about yourself you will sometimes realize that you don’t want what you thought you wanted. In this case, change your WANT.
On the other hand, don’t fall into the trap of reactionary thinking. Sometimes, when your WANT is big and beautiful and your current results don’t seem to match up, you will entertain negative thoughts. Thoughts of self-doubt, thinking you are not worthy or not capable of achieving.
Don’t ever change your WANT under these conditions. Cast the negative thoughts aside. Know what you WANT and WHY you want it. Dig deep into your purpose. Know that you are capable of great things. Have faith and keep moving forward.
