Putting it All Together
When you start thinking of yourself as someone who is thin, fit, and healthy, you will become thin, fit, and healthy.
It will not happen overnight. It takes patience and time. It takes great mental and physical effort. It takes being at peace with yourself and the world you live in. You must understand that your life is good and you can make it better.
Your Mental Life
You become what you think about. When you have control of your thoughts, you can initiate and achieve change in your life.
- What do you really WANT concerning your health and fitness?
- Think of your purpose. WHY do you want what you WANT?
- Create Statements of Fact that define your WANT and your WHY.
- Repeat your Statements of Fact often. Focus on them constantly, continuously.
- When/if negative thoughts enter your mind, squash them immediately by reciting your Statements of Fact.
Your Physical Life
Your life is a collection of habits and routines. You must act by doing what you have always done better than you have ever done it.
- Evaluate your existing habits and routines.
- Does a habit take you toward or away from what you WANT? Have you identified any Cycles of Doom?
- Think of the beliefs you hold about yourself. Should any be removed, changed, or added?
- Create Statements of Fact that define your beliefs. Let them fill your mind.
- Take effective action within your day-to-day life to create a Self-Sustaining Cycle of Success.
Your Emotional Life
You can change your life when you know how. Be a leader, not a follower, and determine how you can become the new you.
- Communicate with the “5 Years from Now You.”
- Understand that you can not do 5 years worth of work in 5 days.
- Determine HOW you can achieve what you WANT.
- Create Statements of Fact that define the faith you have in others and the world around you.
- Make sure that your purpose, beliefs, and faith are consistent with your WANT and HOW.
Your Spiritual Life
The success you want is founded upon your habits and your gratitude.
- Plan the work and work the plan.
- Implement your HOW by making small changes in your daily practice.
- Express deep and sincere gratitude for where you are and where you are going.
- Continue the daily practice to create positive daily habits.
- Leverage your new daily habits to realize your HOW and get what you WANT.
- Remember that success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.
The Recipe
You are more than a physical being living in a physical world. Obviously, your actions and results are a part of this earth. Even your thoughts can be documented and shared with others, but you are so much more than just an earthly being. You are divine.
You do not have a soul, you are a soul. Your purpose, your beliefs, your faith, and your gratitude are more than just words, they are feelings that come from your spirit. You could describe them, even write about them, but the words you would use will pale in comparison.
Strive to get your divine and earthy worlds consistent.
Obviously, the Recipe for Weight Loss Success is more than just a weight loss program. This is a process you can use to make any change within your life. You are the foundation upon which you will build your future. Take control of your thinking; create positive thoughts and feelings; take action and be grateful for the success.
